HOUSTON (September 2010)—Vintage Park, a lifestyle shopping center located off Hwy 249 and Louetta Rd., announces nine new tenants, occupying 12,783 square feet, and seven additional move-in ready speculative spaces.
New tenants include three new eateries Trio Prime Steakhouse & Bar, CoCo’s Crepes and Coffee and It’s A Treat. Also new to the shopping village is Asha Handcrafted Jewelry, Inches-A-Weigh, and Lone Star Tobacco.
Coming soon to Vintage Park is Envi Boutique, a new women’s clothing store opening in November, La Ve Vee Couture, a women and children’s clothing and accessories boutique also opening in November, and Liberty Mutual Insurance, who plans to open a new office in October.
“I’m very excited by the increase in leasing activity and pleased with the quality of businesses opening up at Vintage Park,” says Melissa Forrest Goedde, Director of Retail Management at Vintage Park. “It feels good to see this kind of interest, especially when the economy is still trying to recover.”
In May of last year, Vintage Park started offering speculative spaces ranging from 804 to 2,766 square feet. The spaces were built-out and move-in ready, allowing owners the opportunity to bypass the process of obtaining contractors and permits. Of the initial seven spaces, one remains and is currently being donated to the Northwest Assistance Ministries as an art space for the NAMpede Jeans & Jewels Fundraiser. Due to the appeal of speculative spaces to local, small business owners, Vintage Park is building out seven more ranging from 990-1,476 square feet currently available for lease and scheduled for completion in January 2011.
“Our community in Northwest Houston really responds well to local businesses and wants to support them. One example was our first spec space tenant, Anything Bling Boutique. The owners had amazing success right from the start and recently expanded to a larger space,” Melissa said.
